“[Dating] was really hard and I’m so lucky that Chris is who he is and was so compassionate and had so much empathy for me, and would not match my triggers, he was always- I don’t know how, like uncannily so- he would always know when it wasn’t me reacting, it was my history. He was just so calm and patient and loving, and I wish that for every single woman. I’m so lucky to have found that love. And anyone who’s ever felt the way that I did in my abusive relationship, I just wish that kind of love for them, whether it’s for themselves or with another person.”
